Should we add a whitelist?

I know that we want a whitelist as soon as possible or a different, more new-user-friendly method to prevent griefing, but the server hasn't been up in a bit. BOELENS IF YOU READ THIS: It would probably be a good idea to consider one of the following or any variation:
1. Whitelist
2. Adminium-encased spawn. Signs request that new users register at the forum. Initiation may or may not be raised in difficulty. It's up to you.
3. Use whatever security method your "new merging community" uses to keep griefers away. If they have no effective protection (like use), then you may want to discuss protection from griefers on both servers.

Newsflash: Even if you make and set your sig to show on every post, it will no work.

Boelens: As we discuss all of these things about whitelist, it probably wouldn't be prudent to ask people to join a server that isn't up. If setting up the server is being hindered by worrying about adding security, then don't worry about it until we get everything set up. The added security measures fall behind setting up the actual server and merging with the new community in terms of priority.

the whitelist isnt adding time. Nothing can be done about getting the server back up untill Brohoster updates all of their servers. Boelens said a 10 hour min because he thought thats how long it would take them. Obviously it is taking them longer than expected, we will just have to wait. Also, i do think we should just have a simple whitelist.

OOOOOOOOHHHH! I didn't realize that we were waiting on the Brohoster servers to update. I thought we were waiting on something small like a single plugin updating that would allow for security. Thank you for clearing that up.

Beans and Titan, griefers? No wah! I like that idea, of registering to get through the spawn. How about a private warp? On the old server I tryed it with the Shade's Base. Worked like a charm.

Tj, I've already explained this. When i say that Beans and Titan contributed, I mean that they positively added to the community.
